Known as “the man with the golden voice”, David Diamante wears many hats in the sports and entertainment industry.

In December 2011, Diamante signed a multi-year contract to be the voice of the NBA team, the Brooklyn Nets (formerly the New Jersey Nets). He can also be heard as the voice of Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

In August 2012, David Diamante signed a contract to be the host of the NBC Sports Network’s new highlights show, The ‘Lights. The ‘Lights airs every Monday – Friday from 6AM – 9AM EST on NBC Sports Network.

David has announced professional boxing internationally for almost 10 years. His rich and booming voice, epic dreadlocks and undeniable talent has landed him multiple appearances on HBO, including HBO World Championship Boxing and HBO Boxing After Dark; as well as ESPN, Showtime, SNY and MSG. David has announced in Spanish on Televisa and Azteca America.

Born in Baltimore with roots in Brooklyn, Diamante made his way back to the County of Kings after years of world-traveling and perfecting his craft in the art of sports announcing. His family goes back five generations in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, where he started Diamante’s Brooklyn Cigar Lounge in 2009.
